江泽慧,女,汉族,1938年2月生。学士学位,教授职称。1960年安徽农业大学林学系林学专业毕业,获学士学位。1960年赴中国林业科学研究院木材工业研究所材性研究室进修。曾任安徽农业大学党委书记兼校长。1993年2月当选安徽省人大常委会副主任。1996年1月调入原国家林业部。担任国家林业局党组成员、中国林业科学研究院院长和分党组书记。现任全国政协人口资源环境委员会副主任,国家林业局科技委员会常务副主任,国际竹藤组织(INBAR)董事会联合主席,国际竹藤中心主任,中国花卉协会会长。国际木材科学院院士,首席科学家、教授、博士生导师,木材科学与技术学科带头人。
国内外知名的木材学家、林学家,长期从事森林利用学、中国林业工程、木材科学与技术等学科领域的教学、科研和科技管理工作,先后主持和参加国家攀登计划项目、国家科技支撑计划项目、国家自然基金重点项目和国际合作ITTO项目、GEF项目和CFC项目等。研究成果获国家科技进步一等奖1项,二等奖3项,省部级奖8项。出版专著《世界主要树种木材科学特性》(中英文版)、《世界竹藤》(中英文版)、《绿竹神气》(中英文版)、《中国林业工程》、《中国现代林业》、《东南亚木材识别及用途》、《生态文明时代的主流文化——中国生态文化体系研究总论》等30余部,在国内外刊物发表学术论文200余篇。先后培养林业工程学科研究生、博士后80余人。
